His leadership centers on lean operational discipline and design excellence. Derrick drives manufacturing efficiency through value stream mapping, business process optimization, and the application of Design for Excellence (DFX) principles—ensuring solutions are engineered for manufacturability, durability, assembly efficiency, and lifecycle performance. By eliminating waste, reducing downtime, and minimizing error risk, he strengthens Americase’s ability to deliver protection without compromise.
Since joining Americase in 2013, Derrick has held multiple cross-functional roles—including Graphic Designer, Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Director of Sales, and now Director of Innovation & Engineering. This comprehensive experience across design, complex custom builds, commercial strategy, and operations enables him to connect customer requirements directly to engineering execution and scalable production outcomes.
